Like every other country in the world, businesses must register with the appropriate legal status to sell goods. CBD Switzerland is considered a tobacco product.

Legality of CBD in Switzerland

All economic activities must be declared and the appropriate taxes paid at the end of the fiscal year. Since CBD is legal, you do not need to sell cannabis products in Switzerland to have a specific CBD license. As mentioned earlier, this is a product that can only be purchased by people over 18 years old. This means that all permits related to this type of business, such as a tobacco store, are required.

Depending on the product category, there are specific taxes. For example, all CBD products for smoking are subject to tobacco tax. In addition, the most important guiding principle is to respect the 1% THC threshold. It applies from production to distribution, from retail to import. Cannabis plants and products that do not exceed this threshold may be imported and sold in Switzerland. For exports, the rules will change because other countries have different threshold percentages. Most European countries / regions accept CBD products with a maximum THC of 0.2%. In summary, the market is fairly free and open. This is another positive point of the company.

CBD Switzerland: the evolving sector will become stronger

The largest market for CBD and hemp is in the United States. This CBD market is expected to reach US$591 by the end of 2021. Forecasts show that by the end of 2022, the value of the U.S. CBD industry will reach US$2.1 billion. Since 2016, this number has increased by 700%. The central business district of the Swiss CBD is still very young. The year of its inception was 2017, when the industry was valued at about 60 million Swiss francs (US$59.5 million).

The demand for CBD in Switzerland is increasing. The industry is expected to grow at an annual rate of 39%. By 2027, this number is expected to reach 320 million Swiss francs ($318). If we follow these estimates, Switzerland will reach 83 million Swiss francs by the end of 2018. The population of the United States is approximately 328 million. The population of Switzerland is 8.4 million. If you’re counting, the average Swiss CBD spend is five times what it was in 2018. This is particularly interesting in one of the richest countries in the world. The cannabis and CBD industries are growing strongly in Switzerland and are expected to continue to do so.

Shipping CBD from Switzerland to Germany or Europe

As long as the place of transport considers cannabidiol legal in the country, it is legal to transport CBD from Switzerland to the rest of Europe. As mentioned above, the company must verify the THC content of the products shipped. In most European countries, only 0.2% of THC is legal. Therefore, as a company, you can send products containing less than 0.2% THC to other European countries / regions.

However, because Switzerland is outside the European Union, it sometimes continues to ship goods to European countries until the value added tax is deducted. However, since this is still a new phenomenon and not everyone knows what cannabinoids are, shipments are sometimes stopped at customs.

When this happens, the delivery time is a few days longer than expected, but it should arrive at your door. In this case, if all the above conditions are met, keep it for a few days for inspection, and after several inspections and possibly several phone calls, they will send it to the final destination.

Based on our personal experience, we have found that this happens frequently when shipping CBD from Switzerland to Germany. Usually it takes a few more days, but it finally arrives at the recipient. In short, as long as you comply with national laws, you can ship CBD products from Switzerland to other EU countries.

Drug testing has become standard protocol for employment purposes. Sometimes these tests are required by the government, as in the case of government jobs, and other times they are voluntarily incorporated by companies. Because of these routine drug tests, many people are concerned about using CBD oil because of its proximity to marijuana and the potential risks that CBD could trigger a positive test result. This concern is justified. People need to take drug testing very seriously, especially when it affects their livelihood or freedom.

First and foremost

Routine drug tests usually include urine, hair follicle, saliva and blood tests. In this article, we will look at the chances of CBD being detected in a saliva test. The chances of testing positive for CBD in this test are low. The vast majority of salivary drug tests look for THC and, by law, CBD products must contain less than 0.2% THC.
 CBD products
must contain less than 0.2% THC. However, there are a few important details you should be aware of.

How accurate is the test?

THC Saliva Test

Saliva drug tests are highly accurate for all drugs, including THC and marijuana. However, their accuracy is limited, as they can only test within a window of about 48 hours.

Urine tests are the industry standard for drug testing, and a review of data from 4.5 million saliva tests showed that positivity rates were comparable to those of urine tests.

Drugs usually show up in a test about 30 to 60 minutes after ingestion. Some over-the-counter drugs may report false positives, but most labs will confirm positive results with a more comprehensive test (this is good news for CBD users! We will come back to this later…).

In fact, it is difficult to “cheat” on oral tests because the test is usually done face-to-face with a colleague or hired professional. Dilution tactics, such as those used in urine testing, are not effective in saliva testing. These tests are hard to “beat”. Okay, enough of the boring stuff. Let’s talk about CBD and saliva drug testing.

Will CBD appear in a saliva test?

As with CBD and other drug tests, the answer is most likely no. However, there is always a chance that the answer is yes. So let’s talk about the risks of CBD and saliva testing…

Most CBD products contain traces of THC. The legal limit is 0.2% THC, which is not nearly enough to get you high. It’s like drinking a non-alcoholic beer. The vast majority of saliva drug tests look for THCa (the “parent” compound of THC).

Even though CBD contains such small amounts of THC, there is still a chance that it will signal a positive result. Especially in the context of saliva, if you take large amounts of CBD before the test (72 hours before), this can be a problem. CBD is not currently regulated either. This means that no regulatory body controls CBD companies to ensure quality (yet…).

The result? Some CBD products contain more than 0.2% THC, which increases the risk of a positive oral fluid test. These products are federally illegal and classified as “Marijuana”. Make sure you buy from a reputable brand that has certified lab reports on all its products.

What rappers like Snoop Dog, Marteria and others have long wished for is now coming to pass. become reality in Germany: a new bill will in future allow doctors to prescribe cannabis-based medicines to seriously ill patients, which will then also be covered by health insurance companies. What this changes for consumption and supply, what are the pros and cons of regular use and how a patient feels after cannabis therapy, you’ll find out this week in our reading tips.

Anyone who has ever experienced the relaxing effects of marijuana wonders why cannabis is illegal. Perhaps because a relaxed population is unproductive? Nevertheless, cannabis still has a bad reputation, even though it is one of the oldest crops in the world. For at least ten thousand years, the fibres of the hemp plant have been used to make clothing, paper, food and fuel. The psychoactive effect of cannabis has also been known for over 3000 years. But cannabis doesn’t just get you high: For several decades, the effect of another active ingredient in cannabis has been studied: CBD is the name of the miracle product that is now on everyone’s lips. We answer the most important questions about CBD and its (side) effects.

Finally cannabis is allowed to help

What lasts a long time, eventually becomes good. A detailed report on what will really change in the future for seriously ill patients who can be helped by cannabis-based medicines. Instead of paying just under 1,800 euros per month and only with the special agreement of the state, health insurance companies will now have to cover the costs, and access to the medicine will also be simplified. To find out how this will work, click here.

Vice: “Visit of a depressive who tried to cure himself with cannabis”.

“Pot was my personal prescription for it. Especially in the morning when I had nothing to do.” Thomas is 27 years old and already noticed as a child that something was wrong with him. For example, when he was diagnosed with Type II bipolar disorder, he tried to manage his condition with cannabis. He explained in an interview with Vice why it has plunged him into social isolation, what motivated him to seek therapy and what he recommends to other sufferers.

Huffington Post: “Cannabis can relieve pain, but carries risks: U.S. Report

In the United States, the use and possession of cannabis has long been legal. A report on the benefits and risks of regular use can be read here. In addition, HuffingPost listed 50 prominent friends of green, funny joy.

What happens if I am stopped by the police with CBD in Germany?

The purchase and possession of CBD products containing less than 0.2% THC is legal in Germany. German law states that you may not possess more than 0.1 grams of marijuana or hashish. In Berlin, the upper limit (as of October 16, 2017) is 15 grams “if there is no danger to others.”

France is widely known for its Parisian “joie de vivre” and liberal society. Nevertheless, French cannabis laws are still among the strictest in Europe in 2021. But that may soon change. A public survey on the subject of cannabis is currently causing a great stir among the French. Will cannabis be legal in France in 2022?

France has no forgiveness when it comes to cannabis!

For many years, French leaders have agreed on at least one thing: opposition to cannabis. They have taken tough action not only against dealers but also against ordinary consumers. In the event of a gendarmerie check, a simple joint can lead to heavy penalties. French law totally prohibits the use or possession of cannabis and does not distinguish between personal use and the professional trade in weed. If charged with personal use, offenders in France face a fine of up to €3,750 and a prison sentence of up to one year. If personal use of cannabis poses a danger to others, for example in traffic or at work, the situation becomes even more serious. The threat of up to five years in prison and heavy fines of up to €75,000 exists.

Paradox: one third of the EU’s cannabis is grown in France.

Thus, politically, the battle against cannabis is being waged with a vengeance. Yet, paradoxically, the French are the European leaders in the lucrative cultivation of hemp. According to the French industry association (InterChavre), hemp was grown on about 17,900 hectares in 2019. And that’s just in France. In the EU as a whole, it was only 58 200 hectares. Thus, marketing is currently limited to commercialized fiber and seed. Thus, the content of cannabis in France and of the psychoactive ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol may not be less than 0. %.. Some products must even be completely free of THC and CBD. Thus, the versatile plant that is cannabis is used to satisfy the economic interests of certain lobbyists, but the immense potential of the all-purpose green plant is closed with an iron hardness, notably within the French government.

Cannabis laws in France – unchanged since 1970

In the summer of 2018, former French Health Minister Agnés Buzyn announced a major legislative review of cannabis. In particular, to streamline the country’s criminal justice system, which is arguably in trouble. With more than 100,000 arrests a year for cannabis offences alone and 54 tons of weed seized, France’s cellblocks, but also its evidence rooms, are threatening to overflow. Euphoria bubbled over the long-awaited end to this irrational consumer pursuit. Even the French police union has called for a contemporary revision of the long-outdated cannabis laws. But in the end, nothing happened. Although the controversial issue of cannabis has been ideal for beating the election campaign drum in the political arena, the dusty French legal text from 1970 continues to apply to all cannabis issues to this day.

The French cannabis revolution in 2022?

But this should now come to an end: It is therefore high time to rethink this restrictive stigma at the base. At least that is what the majority of the French Parliament is currently saying. Recently, they have been surprisingly open to the benefits of a legal approach to cannabis. Thus, the survey on the subject of cannabis, ordered by the government to the entire French population, has already started on January 13, 2021. Essentially, this online questionnaire covers all aspects of cannabis use and opinion. However, the almost torrential response exceeded even the wildest expectations. At times, demand was so great that the cannabis investigation had to be extended until the end of February.

After an intensive evaluation phase of the civil claims, the committee’s in-depth discussion of the further course of the cannabis proceedings will follow in April. According to current information, the limits for THC and CBD will be raised. In addition, all components of the cannabis plant up to the flowering stage must be released for commercial and industrial purposes. In addition, for the first half of 2021, a two-year test phase for the free distribution of medical cannabis to patients is already planned. The first stones on the road to the legalization of cannabis in France already seem to be rolling. However, it remains to be seen whether this will lead to a true green revolution in 2022, or whether it will be another case of smoke and mirrors.
